OBDII interface cable for Sportdevices test bench electronics & Sportdyno software

This OBDII-interface cable provides a quick solution for registering vehicle engine speed. This can be very useful for diesel engines where neither a capacitive clamp nor an inductive clamp can be used for recording RPM. In addition, many other valuable information can be logged in the Sportdyno Software by the OBDII diagnostic connector. This cable needs to be use in combination with Sportdevices SP1 / SP3 en SP5 test bench electronics (DAQ).

Most common OBDII PID channels (not all vehicles provide all PID's):

• Engine speed (RPM)
• Calculated load cvalue (deellast / vollast)
• Coolant water temperature (ECT)
• Vehicle speed
• Short term fuel trim (STFT)
• Long term fuel trim (LTFT)
• Intake manifold pressure (MAP)
• Ignition advance timing
• Intake air temperature (IAT)
• Air flow rate
• Absolute throttle position (TPS)
• Lambda value / associated short term fuel trim
• Fuel consumption diagnosis
• Fuel pressure

The following OBDII parameter ID's (OBDII PID) channels are supported:

• SAE J1850 PWM (41.6Kbaud)
• SAE J1850 VPW (10.4Kbaud)
• ISO9141-2 ( baud init,10.4Kbaud)
• ISO14230-4 KWP(5 baud init,10.4 Kbaud)
• ISO14230-4 KWP (fast init,10.4 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN (11bit ID,500 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN (29bit ID,500 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN (11bit ID,250 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN (29bit ID,250 Kbaud)
• SAE J1939 CAN (29bit ID,250*Kbaud)

Please note!: This OBDII interface cable can only be used on our Sportdevices testbank electronics (DAQ) version 3.8.3 or higher.
